went to watch ‘200 pounds beauty’ ytd... i would say it was pretty good although the plot may be simple.. it nv fails to make me laugh right from the start till the end.. the plot revolves ard an oversized gal who underwent a plastic surgery for the sake of her love and life before and after the surgery(the treatment she gets when she's ugly and when she's a near perfect beauty).. beauty is but skin deep, isn't this what we always heard? we all noe this for sure, but how many of us really learn to view ppl that way? Many of us tend to treat the good-looking ones better, did u realize this? i guess, its juz human nature.. afterall who doesn't like to c beautiful things ard if it makes ur day?! *haha* (if that's a crime, i think i'm guilty of that) *oops*
The lead actor ( Joo Jin Mo) looks pretty much like takuya kimura of the earlier days in the movie.. As for the lead actress (Kim Ah Joong), there wasn't much to complain abt her.. she almost perfect and i dun seemed to be able to find any flaws on her.. she's tall, slim, pretty, can sing and can act (wah!).. particularly like the song 'maria' sang by her which i was taken by surprise cos i tot it was other ppl who sang in place of her in the movie.. overall, the soundtracks were awesome...
and i muz say kudos to korean plastic surgery skills! they are really(x100) good.. look at the great difference before and after surgery for some of the korean actresses.. it look so natural, so unbelievable.. isn't it?
