was shopping with mummy when the incident took place..
walked into one of the shop when the alarm from the sensor at the entrance gt activated.. i wasn't really bothered by it as i experienced the same thing at watson the day before.. the salesgal over at watson commented that it might due to my handphone which was indeed the case after i placed it near the sensor.. so ya, shopped for abt an hr for shoes and clothings when i decided to have a bite before continuing.. walked past the sensor and the alarm went off again.. this time round it caught the attention of the security guard in vicinity..
i knew he will approach me and check my bag.. so i passed him my bag and told him that the same thing happen to me when i was at watson the day before.. he insisted that its not due to my handphone.. so i took out my handphone and tested it against the sensor, nth happen this time round.. OMG, what is it that trigger the alarm?? it was damn embarrassing with so many pairs of eyes staring at me.. and the thing was i noe what's in their mind.. if i was one of the passerby, i would naturally think that this gal muz haf stolen sth from the shop..
as if able to read what's on my mind, the security guard assured me that he's not taking me for a thief but would like to help me check out what's causing the alarm to go off.. he said it's sth gt to do with a barcode maybe from merchandise i bought earlier or from my cosmetics.. so after some searching, it was due to the barcode sticker attached to my foundation refill.. hey, it had never occur to me that the refill was the cause as i have brought it along with me all this while but nth of this sort happen before..
well, a lesson learnt: Rmb to remove the barcode sticker before u place anything in ur bag to save all the troubles!~
Phew, what a day..
P.S: Luckily, the security guard was able to tackle such a matter tactfully.. if not, he might ended up accusing the wrong person and causing more misunderstanding..
