haven been updating abt my recent whereabouts..
oh well, i've been keeping myself busy yet happy all this while.. this entry's gonna be long, so be patient!!
the fst grad nite was held on 9th of june at Highlander Restaurant (opp clinic).. unfortunately, the food turn out to be a disaster!! however, that did not dampen our mood.. overall, it was a great dinner as we really had lotsa fun plyaing games and catching up with our fellow classmates.. at the same time, there were also touching moments when we viewed the video clips on the past 3 yrs in NUS as well as the speech given by liyun.. going out into the working society is a harsh reality to face but no matter what all good things haf to come to an end..
met up with sec sch friends to east coast park on the 10th of june.. it was a successful gathering as the weather turned out to be fine since our plan is to go there to cycle.. thanks to the organiser GY as well as the driver BP.. although there were a lot of hiccups along the way, we did haf fun..
11th to 13th june was the prep camp for scamp.. this will be my 3rd and the last time joining camp as an undergraduate.. i would say the best is still the 1st i joined scamp 2 yrs ago.. i guess back then i was forced to be enthu and had to take the initiative to mingle with my freshies since i was the ogl.. there were more responsibilities to shoulder esp when their welfare has been stressed to be the top priority.. back then, it feels like being a mother.. bringing water for the freshies everyday, making sure tat they drink plenty of water after all the games under the sun; bringing them out for supper when they are hungry late at night; buying them honey water so that they wun lose their voice from all the cheering sessions.. time flies, my so called 'freshies' had all begin to take up impt roles in sci club and some of them become the ogl later on.. i'm glad that we are still keeping in touch and has become good friends..
went for work on the 14th and 15th june for roadshows.. it was tiring but luckily there were james and gy to keep me company throughout..
16th june marked the long awaited S4 gathering at Don's hse.. a BIG thank you to Don who managed to get 4/5 of S4 ppl to turn up!! it's really one with the highest turn-up rates ever since the chalet we had after 'A' levels.. its definitely a very encouraging to c that s4 is still as bonded as ever.. although all of us went separate ways after A levels, but most of us nv fail to turn out for gatherings whenever there's one.. friends ard me was full of envy to c that our class is still as close like as our jc days.. its also the day where we celebrate chee wee and ting weis' 22nd birthday..
i've signed up for a short enrichment course during the holiday and today is actually the last day of the whole course.. it has been sth which i always wanted to try out but lack the courage.. i dunno what gave me the courage this time rd, maybe it's because age is catching up on me?? if i dun do it rite now, it will be more difficult next time when i get even older?? i'm glad i did make the move as i've learned alot and met great talents along the way who haf such a great passion on the things they wanted to do..
