BKK trip with Lesii- Day 1
ever since i came back from BKK trip, i had wanted so much to share my experience with everyone out there. but with 1300 pix in my hand, i couldn't possibly post every pix up.
so after sorting them out and some carefully selection, here r the pix of for DAY 1...

day 1 was a short day since we arrived BKK in the evening. our initial intention was to take a cab from the departure hall to our hotel (heard its cheaper?) but in the end board a free airport shuttle bus. we tot it will lead us to somewhere which is easier to hail a cab but we were terribly wrong as we were brought to the bus interchange instead. as there were no cab in vicinity, we went ard asking for bus no and the directions to our hotel.

we were quite lucky as there were passengers on board who noe a bit of English and could tell us where we were heading to, how to pay for the bus fare and where to alight. there was this kind uncle who went to ask the bus driver to prompt us where to alight so that we could change to another bus that will eventually bring us to our hotel. i was very much fascinated by the way the bus fare was paid. instead of tapping the ezlink card like we did here, there will be a lady on every bus responsible for collecting the money. then after which, she will tear off a bus tix from this 'pencil-box' look alike case and hand it over to the passenger.

staying at the Indra Regent hotel was a last min decision but i felt i made the rite choice. the hotel's really near Platinum mall and a popular stay over for the Caucasians. being in a country where ppl speak 'foreign language', i felt a sense of familiarity to these Caucasians who speak English like u and i do. furthermore, we had bugs-free beds to sleep on; clean & white towel to use and entertaining TV programs to kill our boredom at nite..

as we were both very tired, we headed back to hotel after a light snack at A & W and a short stroll to Suam Lum Nite Bazaar. A good rest was so much needed to get us ready for shopping at Platinum the next day...

Tat's all for now...
Coming up! Day 2- Platinum & MBK..
=)
