day 2 of our trip was the day when we really burnt big hole in our pocket! its shopping all the way. from Platinum, MBK till night mkt at siam square. it was lesii's birthday as well.
platinum mall was juz a 5 mins walk from our hotel. true enuff, this place is really a shopping paradise for GALS! from B1 all the way to L5, we combed every level, every row, every corner of the mall, making sure we didn't miss out any chances of getting pretty clothings. nonetheless, i reckon i'm probably a giant among most thai gals cos except for t-shrits, others were too small for me to fit in!
before leaving platinum for MBK, we went swensen for some desert treats. unlike the swensen here, they only sell desert, no main courses, no side dishes. the ice-cream were yummy and CHEAP! its less than 4 bucks for a glass of stick chocolate ice-cream! bear in mind, its from swensen!!
MBK is well know for its cheap inner wear. but we weren't very keen in getting them since they have limited designs and sizes. plus, the things weren't as cheap, as platinum. neither are the range and the design. so we were rather bored shopping at MBK.
as it was lesii's birthday, i brought her to this restuarant at MBK and gave her a treat. we ordered a set meal which came with tom yam soup and thai fried rice. what was special wasn't the food but the lemon tea that we had. it has a tinch of lemon grass flavor on top of the normal lemon tea taste.
the day ended off with us taking a scroll along the streets near siam square and did some shopping before heading back to the hotel.
