As the days draw near, i was planning to give myself a little break on my birthday. With the past yr experience, i kinda feel spending 'this some what impt day' at work seems a little unforgiving on my side.
Well, since it falls on a mid week this yr, having a 'Full Day' of birthday activities would be too much of a burden for the soul and the mind in preparation for next day's work. Nonetheless, having a night out just doesn't seem to be sufficient.. As such, i was contemplating whether to go on a short trip instead..
So where??
With the recession and H1N1 coming together hand in hand, one would have to give much considerations on her pocket and at the same time, her health.
A while ago, i was surfing SIA webbie in search of clues for my next destination.
Europe's a fantansy, a dream which needs more research. So is US. and anywhere outside Asia (with the exception of Auz and NZ) would be too foreign for me to take the risk. I have either no clues of where they are located, or having difficulties with communication.. So, I am only down with Asia for options. Just then, I realised there were some promotions going on for Japan and Auzzie( i hope this was not related to their H1N1 cases..) Well, I would very much want to experience the goodness of Japanese, marvel at how fast their bullet train gets, savour the freshness of their Sashimi or getting lost shopping in Tokyo. But i would yearn to see the Sakura more...
While it would add some weights on the luggage to travel to most countries in the north, the southern hemisphere seems a lot more attractive with Summer round the corner. And then, just as i decide to place Auzzie on my KIV list (left blank for quite some time), saw this headline on yahoo news: "Australia flu cases passes 10,000 mark"
Errr... you know how it feels?
